From the bustling streets of Erie to the charming neighborhoods of New Castle, the outpouring of nominations highlights the deep appreciation our community holds for its educators. Teachers from Grove City, Meadville, Neshannock, Edinboro, Erie, New Castle and the surrounding areas have been acknowledged for their unwavering commitment to shaping the future and making a positive impact on the lives of students.

Margaret Perkins Noel, spokesperson for DALRT, Inc., the family-owned Dunkin' franchisees orchestrating the program, expressed her gratitude, stating, "This program is our way of showing appreciation and bringing a little extra joy to the deserving teachers who play a pivotal role in the lives of our children. The response has been heartening to see the community come together to recognize the hard work and dedication of these educators."

Here are just a few of the nominations received.

Mrs. Lipo with Wilmington Area School District is a phenomenal teacher. She takes time to learn what each individual student needs to excel. She creates a special bond with her students, taking interest in both their academic growth and life outside of school. Because of this, her students excel and want nothing more than to make her proud. We are so very thankful to have had her as a teacher!

Mrs. Wallace, at Cambridge Springs Elementary, treats all of her students with kindness and acceptance. She makes them all feel like they belong. She is an amazing individual!

Ms. Fulkerson, at Grove City Area School District, is an outstanding teacher and an inspiration for other teachers. She is fully committed and dedicated to each student in her classroom. She takes the time to get to know her students and build relationships with them as well as their families. She can turn any negative into a positive and really tries to encourage students to see the positive in any situation. She has the ability to make you feel at ease when your child is in her care. I am so grateful that she is our child’s teacher. Kindergarten can be scary for students, but it is also just as scary for grown ups. Lori helps to ease that anxiety with her warm smile and caring eyes. Thank you for all you do Ms. Fulkerson. We greatly appreciate you!

Mrs. Amy North, at North East High School in Erie, is a selfless teacher. She just opted to take her learning support expertise to the high school level. She works with the kids that need the most help to succeed in school and she does it with a smile on her face and exuding kindness and love. The kids LOVE her! ❤️
