I nominate Elizabeth Haffley! Mrs. Haffley is a 2nd and 3rd grade life skills special education teacher at Joanna Conell elementary school ! She is a fabulous teacher with a huge heart, her drive and passion for teaching and love for the students goes beyond measure ! Her students love her because she is kind, considerate, very upbeat, funny and makes learning all around a fun experience!!!! Mrs.Haffley is always willing to help or give advice when ever needed !!!! I have had the privilege of working along side her and during that time she became a mentor and even like a sister to me! Mrs. Haffley is one of those teachers/ person you come across once in a great while. She is popular with the students, families and colleagues! She just makes life and learning enjoyable!

Mrs. D. has worked so hard for her students this year through the twists and turns of Covid, has brought in treats for her class and tried to do holiday class parties when allowed. My son really wants her to know how much she is appreciated, and since he can't buy her some wine, he wants her to have some coffee!

My daughter has autism, and has had a rough year, instead of being frustrated, Ms. M has gone above and beyond to help my daughter feel comfortable. She is a one in a million teacher!

Mrs. K has been in the district over 10 years. She is dedicated and gives her all everyday to each of her students. Her smiles lights up the day and witty comments add humor as well. I watch her prepare her classes, submit reports, work hours before & after school to ensure all her student needs are met throughout the school year.

Mrs. B. never stops for her kids. She is beyond dedicated to their success in school and future. She cares about not only their learning but well- being. She spends many late nights at home to make sure she provides a fun learning environment for her kids!!
